Pete "Thorfinn" McFarland-Kijek
Pete was first introduced to miniature painting and the world of table-top wargaming in Primary School, when friends of his decided to bring in a copy of Games Workshop's White Dwarf magazine. Upon flicking through the 'Eavy Metal pages contained within, he was captivated by the photographs of painted Citadel Miniatures and vowed there and then to paint miniatures to the same standard as that he witnessed on those early pages. Soon after he purchased his very first box of metal Space Marine Terminators- and proceeded to attempt to "paint" them using permanent marker pen, as he had no paints!
Thankfully, over twenty years and countless pots of paint- including at least one Mega Paint Set- later Pete has honed the art of miniature painting upon the figures you can see within the Photo Gallery. The secret to his success is constant practice. Working for Games Workshop hasn't hurt him either, and has allowed him to achieve at least one lifelong ambition to see his painted miniartures in their hallowed Store Cabinets.
